Air and paper padding systems require little space at the packing station

Customers can set up the machines at the packing station with little space and produce the filling material directly at the packing station. The advantage: no logistical effort to provide filling material, no wasteful storage of filling material - simply create air and paper cushions, fill in the packaging and send your goods.

By avoiding empty space in the package, you prevent your goods from transport damage and breakage. Air cushions and paper pads are used to fill voids in packages and shipping boxes. Above all, it is important to secure the goods, as they are often thrown back and forth in the packaging during transport. For sensitive goods or electronic parts, the edge protection is especially important. Corners and edges can be covered at the tips of their edges to protect the goods from damage. Air cushions and paper cushions can also be used as an intermediate layer, flat or layered goods such as picture frames or plates can be better protected with interleaves against clashing.

The difference between air cushion filler and air cushion wrapper

Air cushions can be differentiated into narrow air cushion fillers and wide air cushion wrapper. An air cushion filler consists of an air chamber, the individual air cushions can be torn off and be put into small spaces in the package. This is mainly used for preventing movement of the goods and plugging spaces in the boxes. An air cushion wrapper consists of several adjoining air chambers, usually from 2 to 4 chambers. It is wider than an air cushion filler and serves mainly as an intermediate layer or is used for wrapping goods. Of course, a wrapper can also be used for void fill.
