The name FLOETER combines real pioneering work in the packaging industry. Already in the 1990s, we were the first company to realize that modern logistics are also fundamentally changing the approach of packaging. We understood at an early stage that the future belongs to the air-cushion packaging. So the FLOETER engineers were the first to efficiently develop this innovative technology. FLOETER also set standards during the rising popularity of online commerce. Since then, we have been providing our customers with constantly new innovations in our unique air cushion film program, as well as efficient packaging machines and ergonomic integration solutions. Meanwhile we stay always up to date with the latest trends in order to ensure optimal protection for your goods under all dynamic market requirements. We are constantly working on improving cost efficiency and process optimizations in the industry, with solutions that set new standards both economically and ecologically.

FLOETER in Germany and worldwide

FLOETER was founded in 1978 in Stuttgart. As a specialist company for the demanding product protection of automotive components, the company was able to establish itself in the early 1980s in the automotive industry throughout Germany. Above all, the understanding of FLOETER's quality and the ever increasing demands of the supplier industry have shaped FLOETER's self- image in a sustainable way. Already in the early 90s FLOETER became internationally active with the unique concept of stand-up pouches. At the turn of the century FLOETER made it to the top of the world market.

In 2003, FLOETER spun off its food business to its own business unit, placing the product protection of industrial components entirely in the company's focus. Because of the great success of the air cushion systems, in 2012 they were also spun off to their own company for the main focus on air cushion systems and stretch wrap systems.

We believe air is the most environmentally friendly consumables and have decided to expand it to the most efficient product protection by using the least possible amount of film material.
