AquaWave air cushions are an FSC® (C162510) certified water-soluble and therefore biodegradable solution for the safe protection of your packaged goods.

FLOETER's latest innovation is the advancement of the PaperWave air cushion. It once again underlines the company's commitment to sustainability in the packaging market. Made from 100% recycled paper, the air cushions are high-performance and ecologically beneficial. This is underlined by the ClimatePartner certification, which calculates and improves or offsets the CO2 footprint. The sealing layer is ultra-thin and consists of polyvinyl alcohol. This disappears on contact with both warm and cold water. No microplastics are left behind. AquaWave® air cushions are ideal for users who want environmentally friendly and, above all, plastic-free packaging.

Easy disposal by the consumer

The AquaWave air cushions are made from recycled paper (renewable raw materials). The wafer-thin sealing layer has no negative impact on recyclability and water solubility. AquaWave can be disposed of in the waste paper or compost. If the AquaWave does end up in the ocean, lakes or streams, it will dissolve there in a maximum of 9 weeks.

Problem-free recycling despite the sealing layer

Recycling is just as easy, as the sealing layer dissolves completely in the first step, the water bath.
