Air cushions for environmentally friendly transport protection
Even the best goods can be damaged on the way to the customer. This usually happens because the goods in the package are insufficiently secured: for example against shocks, against slipping or hitting each in the package. Most goods are fixed and secured with poor consumables that produces high material costs, expenses and above all - a lot of waste. The solution: Recyclable air cushions from FLOETER. With the cushion materials from FLOETER, all goods can be firmly fixed in one package and protected against impact according to the airbag principle.
Anyone can easily produce their own air cushions
FLOETER supplies air cushion machines and the corresponding air cushion films, which are also available in low-priced starter sets. The individual transport protection is produced directly at the packing station and does not fill your storage in large volumes. This saves costs and resources.
Air cushion systems require little space at the packing station
Customers can set up the machines at the packing station with little space and produce the filling material directly at the packing station. The advantage: no logistical concerns to provide filling material, no wasteful storage of filling material - simply create air cushions, fill in the packaging and send your package.
What you can do with air cushions
First you should avoid empty spaces, because if you leave cavities in packages, transport damages and breaks are inevitable. So air cushions are used to fill voids in packages and shipping boxes. Above all, it is important to prevent movement the goods, as they are often thrown back and forth in the packaging during transport. Important, especially for sensitive goods or electronic parts, is the edge protection. Corners and edges should be perfectly sheathed to take away the sharpness of the tips to protect them from damage. Air cushions can also be used as an intermediate layer, straight flat or layered around goods such as picture frames or plates. Therefore they are better protected against hitting each other.
The difference between air cushion fillers and air cushion wrappers
Air cushions can be separated into narrow air cushion filler and wide air cushion wrapper. An air cushion filler consists of a chain of air chambers, the individual air cushions can be separated and placed or put into small packages in the package. This is mainly used for preventing movement of the goods and plugging cavities. An air cushion wrapper consists of several adjoining air chambers, usually from 2 to 4 combs. It is wider than an air cushion filler and serves primarily as an intermediate layer or is used for wrapping goods. Of course, a mat can also be used for void fill, if needed.
